Turning a Zipline Ride Into a 50% Revenue Increase
An outdoor zipline at Niagara Falls needed a system built for the elements. Kool Replay delivered one, and turned every descent into a media content sale opportunity.
Project overview
One of the busiest tourist markets in the USA
Mountain Monster operates a single tower with four high-thrill rides in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, one of the busiest tourist markets in the USA. The site wanted to find a way to create additional revenues while being visible on social media right from its opening. The team needed a system that could deliver quality footage from multiple angles without a large crew to run it.

Solution deployed
About twenty cameras work together across the tower, combining a close shot of the rider with a wider shot that shows the full drop. Each ride produces one finished video, delivered through a fully digital backend built around QR code purchase, no physical media at any step. The system was installed in 2019, ahead of an industry still relying on thumb drives and printed photos.
A fully automated photo and video system can turn one tower into a revenue line that runs itself.
